Two great events celebrating Earth Day
Join us and hundreds of volunteers in the morning to help the environment by picking up
trash and debris along the New River trail system. In the evening, join us for the Planetpalooza Earth Day Festival.

New River Trail & Clean Up

7 - 10 a.m., meet at 99th and Northern Avenues
Get your group together or come alone to pick up trash and debris along the New River trail system. Pre-registered volunteers need to check in by 7 a.m. Onsite registration and check in starts at 6:30 a.m. To volunteer for the event, please complete the online form or contact Tonia Edmundson at the number listed below.

Tennis shoes or closed-toed shoes are required. Also dress in layers, bring gloves and wear sunscreen. Water and garbage bags will be provided by the city of Peoria.

The River & Trail Cleanup is held in partnership with the City of Glendale and Keep Arizona Beautiful.

Planetpalooza Earth Day Festival

4 - 8 p.m., Westwing Park, 27100 N. Westwing Pkwy.
The festival cultivates and celebrates the resources the environment has to offer through food, music, learning and family fun. Learn to be more sustainable in daily life while also enjoying prizes and giveaways, handcrafted food, food trucks and entertainment.

Festival activities will include:

Front Porch Pickins Handcrafted Gifts

Live Entertainment
