Creative Ways to Show your Love

Love carries us through life. As children we couldn’t tell our parents or grandparents we loved them enough. As the teen years approached, so did that crazy emotion of “puppy love.” Then as we matured, we experienced our first love which most likely taught us many incredible things and perhaps led to heartbreak. Then the love of your life swept you off your feet, and you said, “I do!” Perhaps you’re experience a love you can’t explain as you raise your children. Love can be experienced in a variety of ways, this month try some of the following ideas to share your love with those in your life!


Turn off your phone, tablet, computer, video game, and television and take time to listen to those your love.

Write love notes to your significant other, and leave them in odd places, like their shoes, on the dashboard of their care or on top of their computer.

Take your spouse out for a night on the town, or perhaps a night under the stars.

Write a note to those people in your life who have shown you unconditional love.

Make Ziploc bags with basic necessities like socks, soap, toothpaste, granola bars and a bottle of water, and take those bags and hand them to people you may run across who are homeless.

Decorate your home with lights that sparkle, and create a meal with foods that are known to be aphrodisiacs.
